This campground is in Stirling Ranges NP and was our base for hikes. It’s only been open for a few months after being destroyed in fires back in 2018.

Our first hike was up to Bluff Knoll. A massive climb up the highest peak in southern WA at over 1000m. The 360 degrees view was worth it but soooo many steps up for 3.5km.

We decided before 2nd day muscle soreness set in we would do the second hike in Porongurup NP. The Granite Skywalk was shorter and less challenging but a nicer walk overall and just as spectacular at the top with a bit a variety. From here we headed for Devonshire Tea at a local Tea shop and then into Mt Barker for a touch of shopping and the longer scenic way home including a bit of corrugations. A couple of great days in the. National Parks
