After leaving Hopetoun on Thursday we headed to Bremer Bay with a stop at Jerramungup for lunch stop. We stayed at Bremer Bay Beaches caravan park which was a few kms out of town but on the way to the harbour and beaches.

On Friday we jumped on the bikes and rode into Bremer Bay via the Snail Trail.
That afternoon we headed to Blossoms Beach and set up for the day on the beach. It was a bit windy but we still managed to get into the water. We drove down to Little Boat Harbour beach but it was bit busy and little blown out. That afternoon we finished the day with dinner and drinks at Bremer Bay Brewing.
Valentines Day Mark and headed out for our Orcas tour with Whale Watch Australia. Armed with seasick tablets, we endured 2 hours to get out past the Continental Shelf to start spotting the Orcas. Once there we could go outside (pretty cold and windy) but the breeze made the swell tolerable. We saw a fair few Orcas with the boat following behind at a distance. A few days before and after our tour, the boats witnessed a “surge of Orcas” as they hunted their prey. I am glad we didn’t get to witness this. Most of the trip back were were able to stay out on the front (rugged up) until we got back to the harbour around 5pm.. A good day but a long time heading out and back over consistent 2-3m swell.
On Sunday morning we rode the bikes back to The Telegraph cafe and then up the hill to Bremer Bay Lookout tower. We tried to find another beach as the winds had picked up but headed back to Blossoms for a couple of hours. Dave and Veronica tested out their Wetsuits.
